The 2011 Cincinnati Sports Professionals Network Awards Banquet will take place on Monday, May 9 at 6pm at the Sharonville Convention Center. This year's Guest speaker will be Bob Huggins, a 35-year veteran coach of NCAA Division I Men's Basketball and emcee Betsy Ross, with the theme 'Playing Ball with the Boys'.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Sports Executive Lifetime Achievement- Bob Roncker, The Running Spot
- Sports Executive- Mike Bobinski- Xavier University Athletic Director
- Corporate Partner- Bank of Kentucky
- Sport Event - Western and Southern Financial Group Masters and Women's Open
- Sports Media Personality- Paul 'Doc' Daughtery, Enquirer
- Special Tributes-1)Bruce Flory, Special recognition for leadership of the Western and Southern Financial Group Masters and Women's 2) Minor League 2010 Champion Cyclones 3) NKU Men's Soccer Div.II National Champions; 4) 50th anniversary of the UC Men's Basketball NCAA Div I Championship

Tickets are available for $35/student, $75/person or $700/table of 10 or VIP for $100/person or $900/table of 10 , VIP includes private reception with Coach Huggins before the event. A buffet dinner will be served and cash bar will be available. Parking is available at the Sharonville Convention Center at no cost.
